Admissions Process
Applying is free and non-binding.

Please consider applying as soon as possible to aid in our continued planning.

For the 2025-2026 School Year, applications for Admissions will be accepted on a rolling admissions basis beginning on February 24, 2025. Once all of your application materials have been submitted, a decision will be made within two weeks.
There is no entrance exam for Fr. Thomas F. Price High School. A Placement test for accepted students in English and Math will be given in late spring. You will be notified well in advance of the date and time of this Placement Test.

Admissions Timeline

• Complete the Online application (link below) as soon as possible.

• Download the two recommendation forms (links below) to be completed by your child’s current 8th grade Math teacher and 8th grade English teacher and deliver to them. They will complete, then scan the completed form and email to the Admissions team at admissions@ftpchs.org

• Download the Principal Recommendation form (below), to be completed by your child’s current school Principal, and deliver it to them. They will complete, then scan the completed form and email to the Admissions team at admissions@ftpchs.org

• Please have your child’s current school send us a copy of your child’s current year and previous years’ report card and standardized test scores

• The application fee is $50. However, if all your application materials are received by the Admissions Team by April 4th, the application fee is waived. Otherwise, please send a check in the amount of $50, made payable to St. Mary School ,with FTPCHS noted on the memo line of the check. The mailing address is :

Application Material Overview

• Tuition for the 2025-2026 school year has been set at $10,000, which reflects a first year discount of $2,000 from the standard tuition rate of $12,000. This fee is an all-inclusive fee and there will be no additional fees charged for books, materials, technology, etc.

• Information on the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship is below. This program awards approximately $3,000 to $7,000, based on a family’s household income. The deadline for the fall ‘25 semester was March 6th. Please review the NC Opportunity Scholarship page for information on the next window to apply.

• Participation in some clubs and/or athletics may require an additional fee.

• Parents will be responsible for purchasing school uniforms

Tuition and Fees

Once a student has been accepted, the following are to be completed:

• Provide a copy of the student’s birth certificate and immunization record
• Complete an enrollment form
• Send a deposit in the amount of $300, which will be applied towards tuition
• Complete a Medical Release Form
• Apply for a North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship no later than March 6, 2025.

Upon Acceptance

North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship

Applications for the 2025-2026 NC Opportunity Scholarship closed on March 6, 2025, but in the future there will be windows to apply again for subsequent semesters and years. The Opportunity Scholarship is open to students of North Carolina families entering Kindergarten to 12th grade. Awards range from approximately $3,000 - $7,000 based on a family’s household income. Money can be used to pay for tuition and other required fees to attend registered private schools. Since FTPCHS is an extension of St. Mary School for the 2025-2026 schoolyear, when applying on the NC Opportunity website, choose St. Mary from the drop down menu for the school name.
